Personally, I wouldn’t really condone the purchasing of “substandard” software unless it’s deemed collectible, or I happen to be a fan. But given that Wii U software is already being sought after by game collectors, and is only going to go up in price as titles become rarer to acquire, I thought it would be best to highlight what is clearly a shameless attempt by Nintendo in financially exploiting its fans.

Fans of the company often attempt to defend Nintendo’s contribution to the gaming industry by arguing that the company makes the best software. But David Jenkins from Metro gave Animal Crossing 2/10, and stated that “there is almost no gameplay whatsoever. Irremediably boring, interminably long-winded, and grossly expensive. The use of amiibos is unimaginative and manipulative.” So take that as you will…
