This generation is already becoming known for previous-gen re-releases and remasters, and one can tell as Nintendo also recently decided to get in on the act by announcing a whole plethora of re-releases for their 3DS handheld. Still, whilst Nintendo would always be looking for ways on how it can financially raping its fans, at least Nordic Games aren’t going down the same road, as the RRP price for Darksiders: Warmastered Edition has always been a pretty reasonable £20 – with many retailers charging just £15. With that being said however, you can pre-order the game on PS4, XBox One and Wii U for just £12.99. That’s a £2 saving right there…

According to Eurogamer, the Warmastered Edition will feature improved rendering, shadows, post-processing and textures. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will run the game at 1080p and 60 frames per second, whilst the Wii U version will run the game at 1080p and 30 frames per second.

Personally, I’ll be looking to buy the game on Wii U, but that’s only because games for that machine are already beginning to become rare collector’s items.
