Ayasa: Shadows of Silence – interview with Edgar Janoyan (CEO, Aya Games)

My interview with Edgar Janoyan (CEO of Aya Games and Game Designer of Ayasa: Shadows of Silence) was conducted prior to his game's launch on Steam. And whilst the publication of this interview is late, it's (probably) timely in other ways as well, as the game has released to very little fanfare thus far - as evidenced by the Steam Charts. This is whilst taking into consideration that the indie / AA horror adventure title is stylised to appeal to fans of games like Little Nightmares and Inside, and has also had sizable development resources allocated towards it - with the game having a team size of around 50 people, and being in development for roughly 2 years.

Despite the game releasing in a buggy state (as evidenced by reviews on Steam), Aya Games have been responsive to player feedback and are intent on polishing and optimizing the game further. And on that note, it's over to Edgar Janoyan... Enjoy!

If she does, the world will become good again. If she doesn’t, she becomes a dark person. So there are six lands. The good ones are Hope, Faith, and Love. And the bad ones are Betrayal, Greed, and Indifference. And in each land has its own special things to do. And in our game, there are no words, only
