Even though the games industry is shifting increasingly towards digital media, there are a number of companies that are staunch defenders of physical media. And with Tesura Games (a Spanish videogame publisher and distributor that's based in Madrid) being one of them, it's arguable that Jose Donaire (Social Media Manager & PR, Tesura Games) is well placed to answer questions on the company's history, its continuing involvement in the physical media publishing landscape (especially at a time when the market is becoming increasingly more niche), and what it intends to do in future - including securing notable releases. Enjoy! Let's start from the beginning... How did Tesura Games form and what was the reasoning for the company starting in the first place? Jose Donaire: So we were doing distribution at first. Our name wasn't Tesura Games at the time, but we started distributing our publishing partners' games in Spain only. And then we did a special edition version of a game, and we noticed that there was interest. And so we started doing more editions, and more games, for more people, and for more platforms.
